Symptoms of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), also termed acute myelogenous leukemia (AL), is a grave blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. In AML, the bone marrow produces abnormal myeloid cells. These abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, crowding out regular blood cells. This can lead to a variety of serious symptoms, which may vary from person to person.
